The Details

  • What is the cancellation policy?

    We offer a full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in. No refund after that.


    Please be aware that for any refunds or cancellation there is a 5% transaction fee that will be collected. 

  • How can I make a reservation?

    We've made booking with us directly seamless and at a healthy 15% discount to our guests (no more astronomical platform fees!). 


    Step 1: Choose Your Dates


    Begin by selecting your desired check-in and check-out dates using this link: interactive calendar. Available dates are highlighted for your convenience.



    Step 2: Select Your Accommodation


    Browse through our list of properties and choose the one that best suits your needs. Click on the property for more details, including amenities, photos, and rates.



    Step 3: Fill in Your Details


    Once you've chosen your property and dates, click the 'Book Now' button. You'll be prompted to fill in your personal details, including your name, contact information, and any special requests. We will also ask you to complete our pre-arrival requirements which includes providing an ID, security deposit, and signing our short-term rental agreement. 



    Step 4: Review Your Booking


    Review all the details of your booking, including the total cost, property details, if your property has any communal aspects, and dates of your stay. Make sure everything is correct before proceeding. We issue full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in. No refund after that.



    Step 5: Secure Payment


    Enter your payment details in our secure payment portal. We accept all major credit cards and debit cards as payment methods for your convenience. We require a valid card on file for the security deposit and incidentals. We do not accept checks or cashiers checks as payments. Your payment information is encrypted and securely processed.



    Step 6: Confirmation


    After completing your payment, you'll receive a booking confirmation via email. This email will include all the necessary details about your stay, including check-in instructions and contact information.



    Step 7: Prepare for Your Stay


    You're all set! Start packing and get ready for a memorable stay. We send check-in instructions the day before with your unique door codes. These codes are only active starting at your 3pm check-in time. If you need an earlier check-in, we are happy to accomodate for a small fee. Please let us know in advance if you need this convenience so we may update your access to the property.

  • How can I pay for my reservation?

    Online payment is easy through our secure payment portal on our direct booking website. We accept all major credit cards and debit cards as payment methods for your convenience.   • Are there any discounts or promotions available?

    We love celebrating the seasons and our local partners and often run special promotional discounts through our newsletter(newsletter),  Instagram (IG), and Facebook (Facebook) accounts.  Our social media followers often get first dibs on limited-time promotions, so make sure to follow us and stay updated.



    We're all about enhancing your experience with local flavors and adventures. Throughout the year, we collaborate with local businesses to bring you unique promotions and discounts. These could range from dining specials at nearby restaurants to discounted adventure tours.


    Whether it's a summer getaway or a cozy winter retreat, keep an eye out for our seasonal specials that offer great savings on your stay.

  • What are the check-in and check-out times?

    Depending on the property, check-in is at 3:00pm, and check-out is at either 10:00am or 11:00am. Please reference your properties house rules and guidelines for their specific check-in and check-out times.


    If your travel plans require you to arrive earlier or leave later, we're more than happy to accommodate when possible for a small hourly fee. If you require this flexibility, please let us know in advance so we can make necessary arrangements and ensure your stay is as smooth and comfortable as possible.

  • What are the room or property amenities?

    At the Boho House Collective, our diverse range of accommodations includes private 1-bedroom apartments, charming cottages with communal bathrooms, and private rooms. Each unit is uniquely equipped with an array of amenities to enhance your stay. Enjoy cozy evenings by firepits, relax in soothing hot tubs, and cook up a storm in our fully-stocked chef's kitchens. For music enthusiasts, we provide a variety of instruments to play.


    Convenience is key at our properties. Our units are within walking distance to serene nature preserves and local coffee shops. We also offer access to bikes for exploring the neighborhood and are situated close to popular entertainment venues and national parks.


    Our other managed properties extend these offerings with some featuring stunning ocean views and direct beach access, perfect for those who love the sea. If you're a wine enthusiast, you'll appreciate the proximity to local wineries and popular destinations. Each property is thoughtfully designed to ensure that whether you're seeking adventure or relaxation, you'll find the perfect space to make your stay memorable.

  • Is breakfast or other meals included in the price?

    While our properties do not include breakfast or meals in the booking price, we've gone the extra mile to ensure your comfort and convenience. In select properties, you will be greeted with a delightful welcome basket, a small token to make you feel at home right from the start. Additionally, for your convenience and enjoyment, some of our properties feature thoughtfully stocked mini-bars with a variety of items available for purchase. These mini-bars are designed to cater to your cravings and provide quick snack or beverage options without having to leave the comfort of your accommodation. Please note that the availability of welcome baskets and mini-bars may vary depending on the property.

  • Is parking available?

    Yes, parking is available for guests staying at the Boho House Collective. We offer free and ample street parking at our location. 


    For guests staying at our other managed properties, parking availability varies, including on-site options such as driveways, street parking, and adjacent surface lots. Please refer to the specific details provided for each accommodation to understand your parking options. Our commitment is to ensure that your stay is convenient and hassle-free, starting right from where you park.

  • Are pets allowed?

    At the Boho House Collective, we understand that pets are cherished members of many families. Therefore, we welcome pets in most of our units, with a few exceptions.


    Pets are allowed in our private 1-bedroom apartments and cottages, ensuring that you don't have to leave your furry friends behind. However, for our private rooms within the collective, we maintain a no-pet policy to ensure the safety and well-being of our youngest family members and other guests who may have allergies or sensitivities.


    For our other managed properties, pet policies vary. We recommend checking the specific details for each property to understand their individual pet policies. Each property that welcomes pets does so with the aim of providing a comfortable and safe stay for both pets and their owners.


    Please note, in properties where pets are welcome, we take extra measures to maintain cleanliness and hygiene. This includes thorough deep cleaning after each pet-friendly booking to ensure no pet hair, dander, or paw prints are left behind. A nominal pet fee may be applied to cover these additional cleaning procedures and the provision of pet supplies and extra customer service. This fee ensures that all our guests, whether accompanied by pets or not, enjoy a clean and welcoming environment during their stay with us.

  • Are there any additional fees?

    At the Boho House Collective and our managed properties, transparency is key in our pricing structure. Here's an overview of the additional fees you might encounter:


    Direct Booking Savings: Book directly with us and save 15-20% on platform fees. This is a significant saving, making your stay more cost-effective.


    Cleaning Fee: A cleaning fee is applied to each booking, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This fee varies by property.


    Pet Fee (if applicable): In our pet-friendly properties, we charge a small nightly pet fee to cover extra cleaning, pet supplies, and enhanced customer service.


    Late Check-Out/Early Check-In Fees (if applicable): Available for an additional fee, subject to the property's schedule.


    Refundable Damage Deposit: All of our properties require a refundable damage or security deposit. this is refunded within 5-10 days depending on your banking institutions policies.


    Transient Occupancy Tax: Some properties in certain municipalities may require the collection of a Transient Occupancy Tax or some other version of short-term rental tax, mandated by law, ranging from 10-18% depending on the municipality.


    We encourage guests to carefully review the details of their chosen accommodation for any specific fees or charges. Our aim is to provide a fantastic stay with complete clarity on costs.

  • Is there a minimum stay requirement?

    Yes, we do have minimum stay requirements at the Boho House Collective and our managed properties, which vary depending on the season. During the high season, our minimum stay ranges from 2 nights to 7 nights, especially for some of our larger properties, to ensure a consistent and enjoyable experience for all our guests. However, in the off-season, we're more flexible, and you might find options for one-night stays available. We recommend checking the specific details of each property when planning your trip to understand the minimum stay requirements during your intended travel dates.

  • What is the refund policy?

  • How do I change or modify my reservation?

    If you need to change or modify your reservation at the Boho House Collective or our managed properties, you can do so by sending us a reservation adjustment request. We are open to accommodating requests to add additional nights to your stay, subject to availability. However, it's important to note that if you wish to reduce the number of nights and this change falls within our cancellation policy windows, we may not be able to fulfill this request due to our commitment to maintain a fair and operational reservation management system.


    Regarding our cancellation and refund policies, here's a brief overview for your convenience:


    • We offer a full refund for cancellations made up to 30 days before your scheduled check-in.
    • For reservations booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, you're eligible for a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours of booking and the cancellation is at least 14 days before check-in.
    • A 50% refund is available for cancellations made up to 7 days before check-in.
    • Unfortunately, we cannot provide a refund if the cancellation is made less than 7 days before check-in.

  • How do I check in or check out of the property?

    At the Boho House Collective and our managed properties, we've streamlined the check-in and check-out process for your convenience using remote smart locks. Here's what you need to know:


    Check-In: Prior to your arrival, you'll receive a unique access code or instructions on how to use the smart lock for your specific accommodation. This code will be your key to enter the property. Simply use the code at the smart lock to unlock the door. This system allows for a seamless and contactless check-in experience, and you're free to arrive anytime after the designated check-in time.


    During Your Stay: Your unique code will remain active throughout your stay, ensuring easy and secure access to the property whenever you need.


    Check-Out: On your departure day, simply ensure that you've packed all your belongings, leave the property as you found it, and lock the door using the smart lock. There's no need for a traditional check-out process – just lock up, and you're good to go! Please remember to check out by the specified time.


    Our smart lock system not only enhances your convenience and security but also provides peace of mind knowing that you can come and go as you please without the hassle of physical keys. If you have any questions or need assistance during your stay, we're just a message or call away.

  • What is the policy for early check-ins or late check-outs?

    At the Boho House Collective and our managed properties, we understand that travel plans can sometimes require flexibility. Therefore, we offer the possibility of early check-ins or late check-outs, subject to availability and with prior arrangement. If you desire an early check-in or a late check-out, we kindly ask that you notify us in advance. We will do our best to accommodate your request based on our booking schedule and housekeeping availability. Please be aware that there may be an additional fee for these services, which compensates for the extra time and resources required to prepare the property outside of standard turnover times. Our aim is to make your travel as convenient as possible while ensuring that each guest enjoys a fully prepared and welcoming space upon arrival.

  • How do I request special accommodations or needs?

    At the Boho House Collective and our managed properties, we are committed to ensuring that your stay is comfortable and tailored to your needs. If you require special accommodations or have specific needs, we encourage you to reach out to us in advance of your stay.   • How do I leave a review or provide feedback?

    We greatly appreciate feedback from our guests as it helps us continuously improve our services at the Boho House Collective and our managed properties.   • How do I know if my reservation is confirmed?

    If you have completed your booking directly on our website, you will receive a confirmation via email and text message directly from us. This confirmation is your assurance that your reservation has been successfully processed and secured. 


    After booking, If you don’t see the confirmation email in your inbox, it’s a good idea to check your spam or junk mail folder, as sometimes emails can be mistakenly filtered there. Search for an email from BohoHouseSB@gmail.com or Meghan@BohoHouseBNB.com in your inbox. This email will contain all the necessary details about your stay, including dates, property information, and other relevant instructions.


    It's important to review the confirmation details to ensure everything is correct and as expected. If you have any concerns or do not receive your confirmation within 24-hours, please reach out to us immediately for assistance. We’re here to make sure that every aspect of your booking process is smooth and worry-free.

  • How do I know if my payment was processed?

    We use Stripe as our payment processor. After booking, you will receive an automatic confirmation email once your payment is processed. This email serves as your official receipt and includes transaction details such as the date, amount, and a confirmation number.


    If you do not see the confirmation email in your primary inbox, please check your spam or junk mail folder, as emails can sometimes be filtered there.


    You can also verify the payment on your bank or credit card statement. The charge will typically appear with a reference to Stripe and our property or company name, Boho House.


    If you have any concerns about whether your payment was processed correctly or if you do not receive a confirmation email, please reach out to us directly for assistance. We are here to ensure a seamless and hassle-free booking and payment experience for all our guests.

  • Are there any restrictions on group bookings?

    When it comes to group bookings at the Boho House Collective and our managed properties, the restrictions depend on the specific unit you are interested in. While some of our units are ideal for up to two guests, others have the capacity to accommodate larger groups of up to 15 guests. Within the Boho House Collective, for example, our apartment unit can accomodate up to 6-adults.


    It's important to thoroughly read the terms and conditions for the specific home you are booking. This includes understanding any additional guest fees that may apply for larger groups.


    We recommend that when making a group booking, you review the listing details carefully to ensure the space meets your needs and to understand any additional costs or rules that may apply to larger groups.     Please note that at all Boho House BNB properties, events or parties are not permitted unless explicitly stated in that property's terms and conditions.
