On the lush grounds of the Boho House Collective, Soulwell offers an array of accommodations that cater to diverse preferences and provide an all-inclusive experience for our retreat participants. Our retreats, including the beloved "Rooted Relating Couples Retreat," are tailored for those seeking to enrich their lives through community, authentic connection,, self-discovery and relational depth.


Soulwell presents three tiers of lodging, each offering unique amenities to enhance your stay. Nestled in our tranquil gardens are the Jungle and Cactus Cottages, quaint havens with shared facilities that promise comfort and privacy. For a touch more luxury, the Boho Queen Room offers an attached private bathroom. The pinnacle of retreat living is found in the signature Boho House Apartment, boasting a king bed, private yard, and spa bath, with the option to accommodate an additional couple (for a significant cost savings).


All lodgings grant access to communal spaces for connection and relaxation, including a spa, gardens, kitchens, meditation nooks, fire pits, and cozy living areas. Within walking distance, the beauty of Modoc Open Nature Preserve awaits, along with scenic trails for an immersive natural experience when alone time is desired.


Our pricing is comprehensive, encapsulating not just your stay but also a dynamic wellness program that varies from self-regulation techniques and functional exercises to mindfulness practices and healthy meals. We ensure every detail is covered—from crafting supplies to transportation—allowing you to immerse fully in the transformative experience without concern for additional costs.

  • Cell phone use as this is a time for connection and limiting distractions*

*if cell phone/computer use is essential we ask that it is reserved for your unstructured time in your room as to not affect others.

Retreat & Lodging Details

  • Is the full retreat cost due at booking?

    Since the retreats are intentionally intimate with limited room, and prices are all-inclusive, covering accommodations, meals, supplies, classes or workshops, and use of facilities like the spa and grounds; a significant amount of planning and resources are immediately directed to the planning for each committed participant of our retreats. Given this time commitment on our end and our trust in participants' intentions to attend, we collect 100% of the retreat or workshop costs at the time of booking. Given this, we ask that participants be serious in their commitment to signing up for our retreats as it removes the transformational opportunity from others who are in need of our offering and potentially missed out because of your booking. 


    In special circumstances, and at our discretion, we may issue partial or full refunds in instances where a retreat has a waitlist and we are able to fill your spot. 

  • What is the cancellation policy?

    Soulwell's cancellation policy includes fees for changes or cancellations made to reservations. You have 48 hours to cancel your reservation. After that time, if you reschedule or change your reservation, a change fee is applied. This fee varies depending on how far in advance the change is made. 


    For cancellations, the fee depends on the notice period before the arrival date, ranging from a partial to the entire deposit amount being charged. If the cancellation is made less than 30 days before the arrival date 50% of the registration total will be refunded. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the arrival date, the entire registration total is forfeited. 


    Additionally, if a retreat is canceled by Soulwell, various options are available, including transferring to another retreat or workshop, staying at the Boho House Collective, or receiving a full refund. 


    Please be aware that for any refunds or cancellations, there is a 5% transaction fee that will be collected by our payment processor. 

  • How can I book a retreat or experience?

    Please send us an email to secure your booking. We will respond within 24 hours to assist you with booking.

    • Cottages - 10' x 10' cottage in a lush garden setting with shared bathroom and shower facilities
    • Boho Queen Room - located in the main house offering an attached private bathroom.
    • Boho House Apartment - completely private 500-sf apartment with king bed, private fenced garden, spa bath, kitchen, living room, and the option to accommodate an additional couple on the queen-sized pull-out couch to share accommodation costs.

    Step 4: Hold your spot for 48-hours


    we will hold your spot in the retreat for 48 hours while we await payment to secure your spot.*


    A payment link will be emailed to the email address provided on the contact form. Ensure you secure your spot by using this link to pay for your booking within 48 hours. 


    Enter your payment details in our secure payment portal. We accept all major credit cards and debit cards as payment methods for your convenience. We require a valid card on file for the security deposit and incidentals. We do not accept checks or cashier checks as payments. Your payment information is encrypted and securely processed.


    *Ensure you ask any questions you may have and review all the details of your booking, including the total cost, property details, if your property has any communal aspects, and dates of your stay. Make sure everything is correct before proceeding. We issue full refunds for cancellations made within 48 hours of payment and at least 30 days before check-in. After that, a 50% refund up to 14 days before check-in. No refund after that.



    Step 5: Confirmation email & pre-arrival requirements


    We will send booking confirmation, our prearrival requirements that must be completed before your check-in date, and retreat prep materials. In the week leading up to your retreat, the facilitators will reach out to you directly with any special instructions. 



    Step 7: Prepare for Your Stay


    You're all set! Start packing and get ready for a memorable transformative experience. We send check-in instructions the day before with your unique door codes to your lodging. These codes are only active starting at your retreat check-in time. If you need an earlier check-in, please let us know so we can determine if we can accommodate you. Please let us know in advance if you need this convenience so we may update your access to the property.

  • How can I pay for my reservation?

    All payments must be made as online payment through our secure payment link which is emailed to registrants after you contact us with your retreat details and your two accommodation preferences. 


    We accept all major credit cards and debit cards as payment methods for your convenience. We require a valid card on file for the security deposit and incidentals.  We do not accept checks or cashier checks as payments. Your payment information is encrypted and securely processed.



  • Are there any discounts or promotions available?

    We are sensitive to participants whose budgets may require our compassion. In special circumstances, and on rare occasions, we will allow couples to share lodging to offer affordability. However, we intentionally limit our group sizes to offer personalized and high-touch experiences (quality over quantity). Please bring to our attention if you require this consideration and we will compassionately consider your circumstances. 

  • What are the check-in and check-out times?

    It is best to check the details of your specific retreat or experience to understand your  arrival times and departure times. Lodgings allow check-in at 3pm, and check out by 11am. Please reference your property's house rules and guidelines for their specific check-in and check-out instructions.


    If your travel plans require you to arrive earlier or leave later, we're more than happy to accommodate you when possible. If you require this flexibility, please let us know in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements and ensure your experience is as smooth and comfortable as possible.

  • What are the room or property amenities?

    At the Boho House Collective, our diverse range of accommodations includes a private 1-bedroom apartment, charming cottages with communal bathrooms, and private rooms. Each unit is uniquely equipped with an array of amenities to enhance your stay. Enjoy organic bamboo sheets, coffee makers, tea kettles, Bluetooth speakers and/or record players, desks, electric fireplaces, ionized alkaline water, cozy evenings by firepits, soothing hot tub soaks, or a quiet moment in the garden with the chickens. For music enthusiasts, we provide a variety of instruments to play.


    Also, all of our units are within walking distance of a serene nature preserve with hiking trails and a lively stream. 

  • Is breakfast or other meals included in the price?

    Yes! Retreat Participants are offered three healthy fresh meals each day as well as snacks and fruits. We also curate delicious mocktails to accompany each meal. 


    Alcohol is not provided or allowed to be consumed during the retreat. 

  • Is parking available?

    Yes, parking is available for guests staying at the Boho House Collective. We offer free and ample street parking at our location. 

  • Are pets allowed?

    At the Boho House Collective, we understand that pets are cherished members of many families. However, we only allow pets in our Boho House apartment for an additional $50 pet fee, and only if one couple occupies the space or two already acquainted couples occupy the apartment. 


    For information about ADA accessibility & service dogs (not ESA's) please get in touch with us directly. 

  • Are there any additional fees?

    Pet Fee (if applicable): In our pet-friendly properties, we charge a small nightly pet fee to cover extra cleaning, pet supplies, and enhanced customer service.


    Late Check-Out/Early Check-In Fees (if applicable): Available for an additional fee, subject to the property's schedule.


    Refundable Damage Deposit: All of our properties require a refundable damage or security deposit. this is refunded within 5-10 days depending on your banking institution's policies.


    We encourage guests to carefully review the details of their chosen accommodation for any specific fees or charges. We aim to provide a fantastic experience  with complete clarity on costs.

  • How do I check in or check out of the property?

    At the Boho House Collective, we've streamlined the check-in and check-out process for your convenience using remote smart locks. Here's what you need to know:


    Check-In: Before your arrival, you'll receive an email containing your unique access code or instructions on how to use the smart lock for your specific accommodation. This code will be your key to enter the property. Simply use the code at the smart lock to unlock the door. This system allows for a seamless and contactless check-in experience, and you're free to arrive anytime after the designated check-in time.


    During Your Stay: Your unique code will remain active throughout your stay, ensuring easy and secure access to the property whenever you need it.


    Check-Out: On your departure day, simply ensure that you've packed all your belongings, leave the property as you found it, and lock the door using the smart lock. There's no need for a traditional check-out process – just lock up, and you're good to go! Please remember to check out by the specified time.


    Our smart lock system not only enhances your convenience and security but also provides peace of mind knowing that you can come and go as you please without the hassle of physical keys. 

  • How do I request special accommodations or needs?

    If you require special accommodations or have specific needs, we encourage you to reach out to us in advance of your visit. Whether it's arranging for additional amenities, addressing accessibility concerns, or making special arrangements, we're here to help. You can make your requests by contacting us directly via email or phone. 

  • How do I know if my reservation is confirmed?

    If you have completed your payment using the emailed pay link, you will receive a confirmation via email directly from us. This confirmation is your assurance that your reservation has been successfully processed and your spot is secured. 


    After booking, If you don’t see the confirmation email in your inbox, it’s a good idea to check your spam or junk mail folder, as sometimes emails can be mistakenly filtered there. Search for an email from BohoHouseSB@gmail.com  in your inbox or spam folder. This email will contain all the necessary details about your stay, including dates, property information, retreat details, and other relevant instructions.


    It's important to review the confirmation details to ensure everything is correct and as expected. If you have any concerns or do not receive your confirmation within 24 hours, please reach out to us immediately for assistance. We’re here to make sure that every aspect of your booking process is smooth and worry-free.

  • How do I know if my payment was processed?

    We use Stripe as our payment processor. After booking, you will receive an automatic confirmation email once your payment is processed. This email serves as your official receipt and includes transaction details such as the date, amount, and a confirmation number.


    If you do not see the confirmation email in your primary inbox, please check your spam or junk mail folder, as emails can sometimes be filtered there.


    You can also verify the payment on your bank or credit card statement. The charge will typically appear with a reference to Stripe and our property or company name, Boho House.


    If you have any concerns about whether your payment was processed correctly or if you do not receive a confirmation email, please reach out to us directly for assistance. We are here to ensure a seamless and hassle-free booking and payment experience for all our guests.
